🫶The non-profit organization, based in Marathon (We Love Marathon), participated actively in the @athensauthenticmarathon with a team of 20 volunteers, who worked pro bono from 5:00 to 10:00 in the morning. Their contribution focused on three key actions:

1️⃣ Coordinating the arriving runners coming by coach buses outside the Marathon starting area.
2️⃣ Clearing the start zone from athletes and visitors to ensure a smooth and safe start procedure.
3️⃣ Forming a human chain to create the designated start-line formation — essentially, our 20 volunteers “set up” the start of the 42nd Marathon!

🇬🇷Η μη κερδοσκοπική οργάνωση We Love People που έχει έδρα τον Μαραθώνα (We Love Marathon) συμμετείχε στον @athensauthenticmarathon ενεργά με 20 εθελοντές, οι οποίοι εργάστηκαν αφιλοκερδώς από τις 5:00 έως τις 10:00 το πρωί. Οι δράσεις τους κατέληξαν σε τρεις βασικές ενέργειες:
1️⃣το συντονισμό των αφιχθέντων δρομέων με πούλμαν έξω από την αφετηρία του Μαραθωνίου.
2️⃣ την εκκένωση της αφετηρίας από τους αθλητές και τους επισκέπτες για την πραγματοποίηση της εκκίνησης.
3️⃣ τη δημιουργία ανθρώπινης αλυσίδας για τον οριοθετημένο σχηματισμό της γραμμής εκκίνησης, ουσιαστικά οι 20 εθελοντές μας «έστησαν» την εκκίνηση του 42ου!

Η συμμετοχή όλων μας θύμισε πως η άσκηση, η φύση και η παρέα είναι πολύτιμοι σύμμαχοι για μια πιο ισορροπημένη ζωή. 🌿

The “Basic Life Support & AED” seminar took place in Nea Makri, in collaboration with We Love People, the Municipality of Marathon, and the Nea Makri Health Center, with the support of the Volunteer Fire Brigade of Provalinthos. Participants were trained in essential practical skills such as CPR, choking response and recovery position. We thank everyone who attended and supported the initiative.

Με αφορμή το 1ο Φεστιβάλ Ψυχικής Υγείας, σε προσκαλούμε να κάνουμε μαζί μια διαδρομή — για την άθληση & για την ψυχική μας ευεξία!
